BaiShiWan 

Northern latitude 38.9grade, Eastern longitude 121.6 grade: Baishiwan. There is no doubt this is the most beautiful and comfortable place in the whole of China. Those of Baishiwan have climbed the mountain, they have crossed the river, they have seen the flowers blooming and wilting, and throughout, they remain devoted to their sacred search. Without doubt, these are a group of faithful believers, monks and disciples of the grand goddess of Art. Far from the common path, living in a quiet place, they talk of poetry, explore the arts, trying to find the peaceful life, this is our ideal.  To be drunk, to be wild, to be blurred, to be energized, the way is so mysterious. Writing with brush, flowing ink, these are our musical movements.  Studying the development of Chinese painting in the past 100 years, and its foundation in a long, rich history.  We really know, it is both happiness and pain to dedicate ourselves to art.  We know we will need the endurance of a camel as it wanders the dessert. But we are confident that if we give our best, our future will spring open to the light.  Mengzi said ”Truth means beauty, truth and enlightenment is the most of life, and what cannot be known is in the hands of the gods.” This is our way. And this is our motto. Art is the calling of life and freedom is the dream.
BaiShiWan Art Salon is rooted in this fertile soil.

Jia Zhimin biography
Born in1947 in Shuangliao in Jilin province.
Joined the Army in 1968 as a soldier in the sixth division headquarters’ song and dance ensemble
Graduated as a Machine Major from Haerbin Industrial University
Published  “photography manual” in 1983
Published “darkroom manual” in 1984
Moved to Dalian for business in1989
Member of East Collector Association, and Secretary of the Party Branch Committee  for the Fine Arts College of Dalian Arts University

Shi Zuojin Exhibition of Chinese painting  (中文 Chinese)
The brief introduction of Shi Zuojin: The Vice President of the Chinese Nationalities Art College. He is good at painting landscapes, flowers and birds .The works are both traditional and modern, and you can see the range of character and style in his ambition. He has won numerous prizes in world- wide exhibitions. Some of his works are collected by Singaporeans, Australians, Japanese, and Americans.
